Our club meets Wednesday's at Noon in the Gibbs Conference Center in the Walker Education Center. We have a catered lunch and a speaker each week. These weekly meetings form the core of our fellowship time together. As we make personal bonds over lunch, we are able to brainstorm how we might join forces to promote a better community.
The Huntsville Club is very active, and it takes a dozen or more leaders to keep the effort organized. Up front running the meeting are the club President, Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chair, and Sargent at Arms. Behind the scenes are the President-Elect, Past-President, and Board of Directors. Additionally, there are specific committee chairs dedicated to particular projects and events.
As a local leader by serving the club, you are enabling the club to serve the community, the district, and the global mission of Rotary International. Additionally, by serving the club in specific ways on particular projects, you learn and develop leadership skills that will serve you in your vocation.
